Season 2 of Bunk'd was announced on February 29, 2016.[2] It premiered on August 23, 2016, and concluded on May 24, 2017. It consists of 21 episodes.
Synopsis
Siblings Emma, Ravi, and Zuri Ross leave their extravagant New York City penthouse once again to return to Camp Kikiwaka, a rustic summer camp in Maine where their parents met as teenagers. Season two finds Emma excited to reunite with her best friend at camp, Ravi continuing to be the family’s voice of reason and Zuri charming campers alike with her clever and spirited wit. Emma and Ravi resume their role as CIT’s (Counselor In Training) bringing with them the experiences from their first summer at camp. Together with Zuri, her best friend and bunk-mate Tiffany, the cheerful head counselor Lou, the camp heartthrob Xander, and the hilariously imaginative Jorge, the campers embark on new and exciting adventures during their stay at Camp Kikiwaka. The friends welcome an unexpected camper with a dubious past named Griff, Xander gets to showcase his musical talents, familiar faces return for a visit and special friendships are formed and solidified, all the while overcoming unforeseen encounters that arise.

- Season 2 premiered on Tuesday, August 23rd and aired one episode each night until August 26th. It then aired regularly on September 16th at 8/7c.
- This season takes place a year after Season 1.
- Bertram and the penthouse make an appearance in the premiere episode.
- Luke makes his second and final overall appearance this season in, Luke Out Below.
- Christina Ross made her first appearance in Mother May I?[3]
- Three characters from JESSIE made an appearance this season: Luke Ross, Bertram Winkle, and Christina Ross.
- All of the main characters have confirmed surnames as of this season.
- September 30, 2016, marked the 5th Anniversary of Jessie. It was also Nathan Arenas' birthday. Ironically, a new episode of Bunk'd aired that night with Luke guest starring.

- The cold opening can be considered a crossover with JESSIE, as it features the transition music, penthouse, and Bertram from the show.
- This is the final season for several elements of the series.
- This is the final season to feature Xander McCormick, Tiffany Chen, Jorge Ramirez, Gladys Swearengen and Griff Jones as part of the cast as they are replaced by new characters in the next season.
- The final season to use the original theme song.
- This is the only season to feature Griff Jones.
- Hazel, and Emma are the only main characters from this era to come back in future seasons.
- Tiffany's voice is deeper in this season due to Nina Lu hitting puberty.
- No male character appears in every episode of this season.
